Guided tour for families: Florence, art and children

Guided tour for families: Florence, art and children

Starting from 140 €

Florence’s museums are among the largest and most famous in the world, they are museums for adults, but they can also become an evocative place for children and teenagers. The Uffizi, with its great masterpieces of painting, the Accademia with Michelangelo’s David and its unfinished statues, the Bargello with the best sculptures Renaissance has ever created—are just a few examples (but Florence has many others) of those museums where this guided tour suitable for the youngest can take place (without forgetting the parents!). The guide will always use a language suitable for the age of the participants and will always maintain a chill rhythm: in front of a few carefully selected masterpieces, the guide will talk about art and more, will read the work they have in front of their eyes together with the children and introduce the artists who created while redesigning the world around that artist. The visit also includes a short walk to discover the most important sites in Florence: Piazza Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio.

Admission fee expected: Uffizi or Galleria dell’Accademia or Bargello.

Duration: half day
