Guided tour of Siena, what a passion!
The itinerary will alternate the classic places (Piazza del Campo, Piazza Duomo, the main street Banchi di Sopra), with digressions to discover a more intimate and less known Siena with alleys, squares and unexpected views. You’ll get to visit one of the majestic medieval springs—so important for a city that has always been poor in water—look out over the green areas that are located within the walls, or come across the fountain of one of the districts where the Contrada baptism takes place every year, or even go back in time in search of the early medieval Siena with its castles and towers, and enter one of the over thirty churches in the historic center. With this guided tour, accompanied by our expert local guide, you will discover Siena at 360 °! The tour will end with the entrance to the most evocative and articulated of the Sienese museums: the ancient Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala, a real city within the city, inside which there are many possible visits. Admission fee expected: Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala
