Guided tour of Florence, what a passion!
The guided tour will alternate the classic sites (Piazza Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio) with digressions to discover a more intimate and less known Florence with alleys, squares and unexpected views. Our guide will escort you to the Oltrarno, often considered to be the most authentic of the city districts, rich of museums and churches, while still highly inhabited and lived by the Florentines; or you’ll be able to choose whether to visit one of the Last Suppers, originally convent refectories, all frescoed with the theme of the Last Supper—real jewels of architecture and painting. With the help of our guide, you’ll get the chance to even go back in time through the Roman and early medieval Florence of which you can still read rare, but significant traces while entering one of the many churches in the historic center. You will be able to appreciate that, favoring those more isolated sacred buildings which, for this very reason, often offer the opportunity to admire non-museum masterpieces inside.
